We went on vacation last week to Salt Lake City to go skiing at Deer Valley. All in all it was a very fun - but very tiring - vacation! We flew out of Indy, with a layover in Denver - that made the travel very long - almost a 13 hour day in total. Tyler did awesome on the plane - he didn't really seem affected at all by the changes in pressure with taking off and landing, and he basically just slept the whole time. I wish I could do that! I still get scared of planes so I found it very stressful to be flying, but we made it with no issues, thankfully! Well, we had one issue - we left my ski jacket on the first plane. So my coat went to Seattle while we went to Salt Lake. We remembered we left the coat on the plane, so once we got to Salt Lake we talked to the baggage people and they were actually able to send it back from Seattle to Salt Lake on another plane. Good job SouthWest! Once in Salt Lake we skiid for 3 days at Deer Valley. It was awesome! I haven't been skiing in 2 years, I couldn't go last year since I was pregnant with Tyler. The weather was beautiful - clear blue skies and in the 30s, which is great skiing weather. We stayed with Ed's Aunt, Uncle, and cousin from St. Louis, which was fun. After 3 days of fun, we flew back Monday. Sadly, I had to go into work Tuesday morning. :( I had a lot of pictures so I attempted to make a slideshow below.
