Some Updates

I thought I'd give some updates on a few things going on in our lives . . .

• We finally have family health insurance from P&G! it only took 2.5 months and multiple phone calls to get Ed added to my plan
• Tyler is sleeping 11-12 hours per night!! He has been doing this ever since Jan 1st. I have Megan (and Babywise) to thank for this! I had been waking Tyler up at 11pm every night to eat. Megan had been doing something similar with Mary until their doctor advised them to stop waking her and let her sleep. It worked for Mary, so that night I tried it and ever since Tyler has been sleeping all night! (I'm probably jinxing myself right now . . . he'll probably wake up tonight).
• Tyler is officially a thumb sucker. His left thumb is actually cracked and bleeding because he sucks it so much . . . you'd think he would stop because it hurts, but no, he likes it too much.

• I'm working on Always Infinity now at work . . . you should try it! (If you're a girl, that is) http://www.always.com/infinity/always_infinity.jsp
• We're going to Deer Valley in Salt Lake City to ski next weekend! I'm raelly excited, but nervous about traveling with Tyler and how the day care at the resort is going to work. We'll see!

Back to Work

Well, I've officially rejoined the work force. The first few days have been okay - in a way it is nice to be back, but I do really miss being with Tyler. It is not fun only getting to see him a few hours a day! Also it takes a lot of time to get everything ready for him for the day. Ed was a great husband and surprised me with a really nice email on my first day and also brought home flowers!! :) Luckily my parents have very graciously volunteered to babysit him every day, for now, which has been wonderful. It's still hard to leave him, but it's a lot easier knowing that he's with people I know and trust!

Anyway, here are some cute pictures from when Ed and Tyler watched the Vikings playoff game last weekend (Ed's new favorite team is the Vikings, in lieu of the Bengals since the suck right now). Note, in the second one Ed is trying to get Tyler to fart in my direction . . . he's such a great influence on our child

Christmas Day

Well we had a great Christmas this year! We got to spend lots of time with friends and family. I don't think Tyler really knew what was going on with presents on Christmas day. Even though we knew this would happen, we still got him a couple of presents that Ed picked out. They were 2 books - The Digging-est Dog and Hooper Humperdink, Not Him. Tyler doesn't seem to care yet, as you can sort of tell in the pictures below from Christmas morning.

After we opened presents at our house Christmas morning, we headed over to Ed's sister's house for a potluck brunch. It was really fun! And as always, there was great food there. :) Here is a group photo with Skyler, Nona, and Tyler. I forgot to take any other pictures there!

After Jenny's house, we headed home for an hour to tend to the animals and transfer gifts, then we headed to my parents house. I did remember to take some pictures there. Here are some of my favorites.
