An update on sleeping - I am keeping my fingers crossed that he'll be sleeping through the night consistently soon. These past 2 nights were the first 2 nights he slept through the night in a row! And I think I've finally realized he's not crying in the middle of the night anymore out of hunger - the last 3 times he's woken up in the middle of the night crying I've gotten him out of the crib and rocked him with his pacifier in his mouth for about 10 minutes, and that has put him right back to sleep - then he sleeps for another 4 hours or so. Also he's in the process of learning to suck his thumb, so I'm hoping he'll master that skill and be able to get himself back to sleep if he does wake up.
I have always been a night person, and had a hard time getting up in the morning. I thought having a baby would magically change me and I'd start going to bed earlier, and getting up earlier. Nope! Somehow I've managed to get Tyler on my schedule. So he goes to be about 8:30 or 9pm (sort of late for most babies) and gets up around 8:30 or 9am. That is going to have to change when I go back to work, though (Jan 7th). Maybe then I'll magically be a morning person? Probably not, I'll probably just be more tired!
Here are some pictures from Christmas events we've been to . . .
The Young Life leader ugly sweater party (Ed is dressed up like Cousin Eddie from National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation, if you can't figure that out)
With Santa at the Wyoming Christmas Walk

Playing in his room - he is just over 2 months old.
