10 more weeks

Well we have 10 more weeks! We found a really great crib/changing table/dresser at Babies R Us. Here is a picture of the crib and changing table. We also ordered a dresser, but they didn't have it in stock so we got a rain check. Once we finish the basement (hopefully soon!) and I get the babies room cleaned out (also hopefully soon!) we can set them up.

So we went and got a tour of the P&G day care today - it looked great, except there is a waiting list until 2010! there are 40 infants on the waiting list. Some parents, ones who have other children there already, have their un-conceived children on the list. They aren't even pregnant yet! It's just crazy . . . so we're still looking for day care starting next year. There's another one we're checking out in a couple of weeks that is close to us and sounds good, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

3rd Trimester!

Well I'm officially in the 3rd tri-mester! It's crazy how fast this is going! We haven't gotten anything done yet in the baby's room - we're still trying to finish the basement. I'm starting to get a little stressed out about it, though I'm sure it will all come together in time. I went to a doctor's appt last week and found out I'm slightly anemic - apparently I don't eat enough red meat, beans, or leafy greens (duh! they're not that good!) so I need to take some iron pills in addition to my pre-natal vitamins. Otherwise everything is looking good! I go back in another 4 weeks, then I start going every 2 weeks. We start birthing classes next month, which should be fun (and interesting).

In other news, we are looking for daycare/childcare starting in January so if you have any suggestions let me know!

Vacation!

This past week Ed and I went on vacation! We went to Niagara Falls for 1 day, then stayed with Brandon and Cari in Boston (Chelmsford to be exact) for the rest of the week. We are very thankful they put up with us for that long! We had a great time. Below are some pictures of what we did.

Getting bigger . . .

So I feel like in the last few weeks I've gotten gigantic! All of a sudden I think you can really tell I'm pregnant, and a lot of people are stopping me and asking me. I always thoguht that was one of those questions you just don't ask someone you don't know well, but apparently that's not true. Anyway, here are some pictures Megan took of us at a wedding this weekend. I think the husbands are as proud of their bellies as we are :)

We had our 20 week ultrasound yesterday and found out we're having a boy! We're very excited (although we had a girl name picked out, and not a boy name). So the top names we have right now are Jacob (though that is very common - #1 name in the US for the last 9 years!), Tyler (though that may be a lot of "er" sounds in one name, if you add our last name in there), and Evan (though it may sound too much like Edwin). And Ed keeps trying to push for Carson, but I don't think I'm going to give in on that one.

I'm a boy!

Baby!

Well I decided to start a blog, mostly to put up fun pictures :)

As you may or may not know, I am pregnant and the due date is Oct 3. Ed and I are very excited! I am now over 1/2 way :) We are getting our ultrasound on next Wednesday, so at this time next week we should know if it's a boy or girl!
