Tyler's 2nd Birthday

So it's been awhile, oops! About a month ago was Tyler's 2nd birthday! It's hard to believe 2 years have gone by, it has gone so fast (and been so great)! (of course it's also hard to belive I haven't updated this since April :-)

We celebrated Tyler's 2nd birthday by having a family party. He had lots of fun and got lots of great gifts! My friend Jenny helped me make rainbow cupccakes for the party - they were easy and looked/tasted great!

My sister also came over and helped me decorate some yummy sugar cookies. We had lots of good food, and Tyler was definintely on a sugar high by the end of the night.

Tyler had lots of fun opening presents and eating cake!

This has been such a fun age. Tyler is running and jumping and most of all talking. He has just learned so many words lately, it's crazy! His favorite words right now are "daddy" (of course), "what is it?", "blue", "ball", "balloon", "umbrella" and many more. We're trying to get him to talk in more sentances now, and I've made it my mission to get him to say "mommy" more because he just constantly says "daddy", even when he's referring to me. He also has developed this weird obsession (maybe his first crush?) with Dora the Explorer. We watch it almost every night now at 7 right before bed time. He does this crazy excited run around the living room when she comes on and yells "Dora, Dora"over and over.

Well I have many more updates and pictures to post, so I'll try to post more often! :)
