36 weeks - 4 to go!

Well it's been awhile - I'm bad at updating this thing. Today is the beginning of week 36 - so 4 more to go (+/- a couple)! We've had all of our baby showers now (thank you to Renee and Nichole and my mom for throwing them!) and gotten a lot of great stuff, including all of the essentials. We spent most of last Monday cleaning - I had a lot of stuff to get out of the baby's room :) including sorting through old picture frames, candles, things like that. I still have a little bit left, but it is mostly done. We got all the furniture set up in the room, too, so it's really coming together! I will try and take pictures soon and post them on here. Tomorrow we're leaving for St. Louis for the weekend to go to my cousin's wedding. I'm really looking forward to it since I don't get to see my family in St. Louis very often, but I'm a little nervous about the car ride. And about going into labor early - we're taking the car seat just in case. :) I really don't think I'll go into labor that early, but I figure it's better to be prepared (and, I figure it's the same as when you take an umbrella with you and then it doesn't rain - if we take the car seat and stuff then it won't happen). I'll let everyone know next week how it went!
